Or,
I luv it when they call me BIG POPPA the show STOPPA xxxx. Man, don't get me started. I'm misty just thinking about it.
Its easy to think that this is one of those Notorious is still the king discussions, but really, this is slight of hand dialogue.
The interesting thing about BIG was his larger than life persona. Check out this flamboyant "Big Fella" that yells it's my charm/game b***h not the physical that's gonna get ya!
And you know what, it worked. The affirmation had so much "mojo" that it spilled over to every fat, out of shape, top heavy, bad leg Joe that wanted to be recognized by the opposite sex.
WOW! Now that is Swagger. Take what is bad on the surface and make it shine. I remember those good, old days when Fat Boys, we called them swole, would walk in the room with this stunning, beautiful woman on their arms.
All witnesses, would be in shock and say...how in the hell did that happen? We would shake of the "hater" thoughts and say, sign of the times. Make it happen BIG FELLA! I'm proud of ya.
Those were the days.
Stop! The operative word is were. Its spring 2010. Clothes are narrower and tighter fitting than ever before. Fat like the tape deck is out. No more good.
I view all of the ladies walking, running and lifting their way to wellness. I see many of the fellas sitting to watch ESPN, running to the bathroom and lifting soda and beer cans.
Playas, time to get off the couch and walk/run somewhere. Drink more water... not just to wash down Viagra but, to clean your kidneys and colon. Hell, if P Diddy can run a marathon,
you can run around the building, at least.
I am receiving emails, texts and phone calls about some playa suffered a heart attack. He is no longer with the living. Age is not a factor. All ages are falling victim to health issues.
We have to recommit to slowing down the dieing process. This is for us, our children, and extended families and yes, all of our women from the bottom to the tip top.
Note: I will do something healthy today. I don't care if it is just one push up. It is a start.
Biggie, I miss you but, when you departed so did your motto. Take me as I am!
Now, living is asking for so much more.
Peace
